Two recipes for delicious freakshakes

What is a Freakshake?

A freakshake is a milkshake in a class of its own. The base is usually a normal milkshake made from milk, ice cream, fruit or chocolate. And THEN comes the icing on the cake: because now the treat is topped with all kinds of toppings like brownie pieces, salted pretzels, marshmallows or whole donuts. So a Freakshake is dessert, drink and cake all in one.

Rezept für einen Schokoladen-Karamell-Freakshake:

  • 250 ml cold milk
  • 3 teaspoons “Günther” dark drinking chocolate from Becks cocoa™.
  • 1 tablespoon of caramel syrup
  • 4-5 large ice cubes
  • Whipped cream

For the toppings: chocolate cream, caramel popcorn, small salted pretzels, chocolate drops, chocolate mikado sticks

For the freakshake, we first prepare the glass. To do this, we spread about a tablespoon of smooth chocolate cream on the top rim of the glass. This rim is both practical and delicious. For one thing, the other toppings like pretzel pieces, popcorn, etc. stick to it wonderfully. For another, you can eat it right away later.

Then prepare a delicious milkshake with cold milk, drinking chocolate and caramel syrup. Mix it vigorously once. Then pour it into the prepared glass with a good handful of ice cubes.

Now top your chocolate caramel freakshake with whipped cream and decorate it to your heart’s content. For example, add small salted pretzels, caramel popcorn, cocoa, chocolate or caramel sauce.

Your personal Günther is ready!

Recipe for a peanut chocolate freakshake

  • salted peanuts
  • chocolate sauce
  • 250 ml cold milk
  • 3 tsp “Günther” dark drinking chocolate from Becks cocoa™
  • 1 tbsp. caramel syrup
  • 4-5 large ice cubes
  • Whipped cream

For the topping: peanut butter, salted peanuts, chocolate sauce, peanut butter cups, and more.

To make Claus-Peter, the Peanut Chocolate Freakshake, first spread the top of your glass with some creamy peanut butter. Then, chop about a tablespoon of salted peanuts and sprinkle them on the peanut butter rim. Run some chocolate sauce down the inside walls of the glass.

Then prepare the milkshake consisting of cold milk, drinking chocolate, caramel syrup and a tablespoon of peanut butter. Pour the chocolate milkshake into the glass along with the ice cubes.

Now top your peanut chocolate freakshake with whipped cream and delicious toppings like Peanut Butter Cups, chocolate micada sticks, chocolate sauce and more peanuts.

Missing freakshake

Unfortunately, Günther has now disappeared for about 10 minutes. Only a small piece of pretzel lies in the place where we saw each other for the first and last time. Also from Claus-Peter every spurt is missing.

Günther, you and I, that was something big!
