Lamb BEFORE NINE

Great Britain meets the Orient. Lamb meets cocoa. Mint meets harissa.

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 2 tsp Becks Cocoa™ Before Nine
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp harissa
  • 1/2 handful mint
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 600 g lamb meat (from back or leg)
  • 2 organic limes
  • 2 tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Also: wooden skewers

Mix Becks Cocoa™ Before Nine with the spices and olive oil. Cut lamb into 2-3 cm cubes and place in the marinade for at least 30 minutes. Place skewers in cold water to prevent burning later when grilling. Wash and dry limes and tomatoes and cut in half crosswise. Cut each half into quarters.

Thread lamb with lime and tomato pieces onto skewers. Salt and grill over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes on both sides.
