You don&#8217;t need to bother with the water bath, because the brownie star recipe does not contain baking chocolate, but pure cocoa. Since it contains only a few ingredients, it stands and falls with the quality of those ingredients. Good thing there is Becks cocoa cocoa!<\/p>\n<p>For the brownies, it should be the pure Criollo, but Sinnerman with its cinnamon note is also great &#8211; and goes well with the cinnamon stick! Here comes the recipe from Vera:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Recipe for 12 rectangular brownies &#8211; or 6 brownie stars plus a lot of offcuts:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>250g butter<\/li>\n<li>70g cocoa (e.g. Criollo or Sinnerman from beckscocoa)<\/li>\n<li>4 eggs<\/li>\n<li>200g sugar<\/li>\n<li>170g flour<\/li>\n<li>100g ground hazelnuts<\/li>\n<li>Mark of a vanilla pod<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>rectangular oven dish, approx. 25 x 20cm<\/p>\n<div>\n<h4>You still need this:<\/h4>\n<p>Cinnamon sticks, toothpicks, icing sugar, icing for the decoration<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\"><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-AD88ZcOiQmc\/Vj-6T_CRroI\/AAAAAAAASIM\/Za8ObGZYku4\/s1600\/becks_cocoa_criollo_sinnerman.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-AD88ZcOiQmc\/Vj-6T_CRroI\/AAAAAAAASIM\/Za8ObGZYku4\/s1600\/becks_cocoa_criollo_sinnerman.png\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<h4>Preparation Brownie Stars on a Stick<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>First heat the butter slowly in a saucepan until just melted (Thermi: 3 minutes \/ 70 \u00b0C \/ speed 1).<\/li>\n<li>Then add the cocoa powder, stir (Thermi: 30 seconds \/ speed 2) and leave to cool slightly.<\/li>\n<li>Then add the eggs, sugar, flour, hazelnuts and scraped-out vanilla pod and mix well with a hand mixer (Thermi: 50 seconds \/ speed 4).<\/li>\n<li>Butter the tin, pour in the batter and bake in a preheated oven at 180 \u00b0C for approx. 40 minutes. Please test with chopsticks, every oven is different &#8211; the dough should still be slightly soggy inside.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the dough from the tin, cut into pieces or cut out stars and decorate with icing or icing sugar. And of course: don&#8217;t forget the cinnamon sticks as stems. If they are too short, insert a toothpick as an extension.
