Cocoa Mocktails – Part I Early Summer & Summer

MockMockMock on heavens door (part 1) –
Clear the bar for Cocoa – this summer’s ingredient!

Cocktails are a highlight for us – the epitome of summer! After all, what could be better than relaxing with a cool glass and enjoying the abundance, the liveliness, the sun? And, in keeping with the times, preferably without alcohol. Yes, we celebrate life to the fullest and experience the next day with a clear head and a good body feeling.

The good thing about mocktails is – you can drink them anytime: morning, noon, night! Before dinner, after dinner, as breakfast, in bed, as dessert, as a snack, with work colleagues, business partners, with friends, guests, at a barbecue, at parties, on a first date, just like that, alone. Exactly, and even the kids can sip it!

The great thing about mocktails, on the other hand, is the infinite cosmos of taste, the variety of flavours and pleasures of the palate, the fun of experimenting: sometimes sparkling fresh and light, sometimes spicy-malty, sometimes fruity, sometimes aromatically full and round, sometimes milky-creamy-blissful – depending on the time of day, the temperature and your mood!

And we in particular add the chocolaty cocoa flavour on top and thus new depth to your summer drink:

20 different Becks cocoa™ organic cocoa varieties with mint, orange, vanilla, cinnamon, lavender and many exciting varieties more invite you to try them. Plus our chais and frappés and cocoa nut creams. Clear the bar: for the cocoa in the mocktail glass!

Mix Becks Cocoa spice-Chai with 5 cl milk and froth. Put ice cubes in a glass and fill up to 4/5 with milk. Carefully pour on the spice-milk mixture to create two layers. Mmmmh – spicy and refreshing at the same time!

FROZEN LATTE

For a change and perfect for breakfast or in the afternoon! You only need a little: an espresso, an ice cube (the espresso is also great frozen into ice cubes!), cold milk and our Becks Cocoa™ Frappé White Wedding – our white chocolate with bourbon vanilla and coconut enjoyed cold. Put the ice cube (or espresso ice cubes) in the blender, add espresso, milk and frappé powder (to taste), blend until creamy, pour into a pre-chilled glass – and the cool kick is ready!

MILKY CREAMY

ICED CHAI LATTE

Mix Becks Cocoa spice-Chai with 5 cl milk and froth. Put ice cubes in a glass and fill up to 4/5 with milk. Carefully pour on the spice-milk mixture to create two layers. Mmmmh – spicy and refreshing at the same time!

FROZEN LATTE

For a change and perfect for breakfast or in the afternoon! FRUITY AND CREAMY

BANANAMAMA

For the Bananamama, simply put a banana in the blender; add Becks cocoa™ White Wedding Frappé powder, whole milk and ice cubes and you have the perfect jungle refreshment. The banana papa joins in with dark chocolate: with our Becks cocoa™ Frappé Nude!

PIÑA BIANCA

Put Becks cocoa™ Frappé White Wedding in the blender with ice cubes and a slice of pineapple. Pour into a highball glass, decorate as you like and sip away slowly!

STRAWBERRY FRECKLES

Very simple and simply (earth)berry: Add frappé powder Becks cocoa™ White Wedding, whole milk, ice cubes and a handful of strawberries (either fresh or from the freezer) to the blender and blend on high speed until creamy. Mix it, baby, and: love it!

Delicious with all other berries too, of course: Raspberries, currants, blueberries, blackberries …

FRUITY

COCOA MUD BOWL

Cut melon, various berries, pears and other fruits to taste into small pieces and place in a wide glass jug. Fill with orange juice and leave to infuse in the fridge for a while. Shortly before serving, add non-alcoholic sparkling wine or Prosecco, some mineral water and finally 2×2 centimetre pieces of vanilla ice cream. Pour into cocktail bowls, sprinkle with Becks cocoa™ A Chockwork Orange or Becks cocoa™ Nude – serve immediately.

TROPICAL CLEANER

Pour freshly squeezed lime, lemon and orange juices together with a few thinly sliced pieces of the fruit into a carafe and top up with cold water. Before drinking, season the drink in the glass with freshly ground white pepper and a pinch of Becks cocoa™ Criollo.

Our tip: Becks cocoa™ Criollo, Sinnerman and As I Went Out Walking and A Chockwork Orange are also available in a practical shaker.

BLUEBERRY COCOA MOCK-MOJIOTO

Lightly mash mint leaves and blueberries one by one in the glass, add freshly squeezed lime juice, cold ginger ale and some strongly sparkling mineral water. For a delicious finish, sprinkle mint cocoa Becks cocoa™ Before Nine on top!

MINTY FRESH

FRUTY FRESH MINTY DAY.

Pour ice into a highball glass. Add the juice of an organic lemon and stir with a heaped teaspoon of Mint Cocoa Becks cocoa™ Before Nine. (To help the fresh mint flavour come through, you can add a few mint leaves lightly crushed in a mortar to the drink). If desired, add mint syrup to taste. Then pour in cold, more sparkling mineral water. Decorate with a sprig of mint and a slice of lemon. Santé!

If you like it icy and even more lemony: simply use some (homemade) lemon sorbet instead of the ice cube.

If you love lavender or variety: instead of Becks cocoa™ Before Nine, use our Becks cocoa™ As I went out walking.

Variation: Instead of lemon, you can also try the recipe with fresh orange juice. In this case, you can also use our Becks cocoa™ A Chockwork Orange.
